Platform Overview

Makezaa is a Next.js-based agency website and content platform combining a project portfolio, blog publishing, customer enquiries, and an authenticated agent integration layer. Its public-facing site is backed by a Supabase-powered CMS and deployed through Vercel.

Core Website and CMS

Portfolio and editorial content: project entries, blog posts, images, summaries, technology labels, and live or repository links.
Draft and publishing workflows: authenticated content editing with separate published and unpublished states.
Contact submissions: website enquiries available through the administrative workflow.
Responsive interface: a Next.js/React frontend with a motion-led studio presentation.

October 2026 Update — Makezaa Control

The public repository now documents Makezaa Control, an authenticated remote MCP and HTTP API integration for approved external AI agents. It connects to the existing CMS rather than replacing it with a separate hosting stack.

Scoped permissions: OAuth consent and separately enforced read, write, publish, media, and task scopes; users approve the requested access.
Content operations: supported tools can list, inspect, save and publish blog posts and portfolio projects, plus work with permitted media.
Agent administration: a dedicated admin area for agent connections and permissions, with scoped keys, action history and completion reports.
Task workflow: durable queued jobs and lease-based claiming for compatible external agent workers. Research, reasoning and scheduling are supplied by the connected agent, not by an embedded LLM in the website.
Public GitHub research: repository discovery and README/language metadata retrieval to support evidence-based portfolio updates.

October 2026 Update — Motion Frontend

The October 13 repository update introduces a motion-led studio homepage with animated typography, scrolling service sections and a project preview. The live homepage was checked on October 14, 2026; its hero preview video loaded during verification.

Presentation: a project collage, large animated studio headline and navigation into the agency's services and work.
Motion implementation: Motion, GSAP and Lenis dependencies support the frontend's animation and scrolling layer.
Project media: the repository includes a short hero preview and a longer studio reel. Full reel playback was not independently verified during this review.

The interface update sits alongside the existing publishing and agent-control platform. It should not be interpreted as a performance benchmark or a claim that every referenced media asset was originally produced by Makezaa.

Architecture

The site uses Next.js, React and TypeScript with Supabase Auth/PostgreSQL and public media storage, alongside Vercel deployment. Makezaa Control adds OAuth/MCP and agent API routes with server-side authorization. The repository includes integration documentation and tests.
